WEST CLERMONT HIGH SCHOOL
SFA is currently working to complete the design and construction of a new 2,400 student, 378,000 sf high school and athletic complex for the West Clermont Local School District. This design/build project merges two existing high schools (Amelia High School and Glen Este High School) into one consolidated, state-of-the-art educational facility. Located on a previously undeveloped site in the heart of Batavia, OH, the new school is centrally located within the District.
The new school will include an 8-lane natatorium, 1000 seat auditorium, two gymnasiums, stadium complex and additional road improvements to allow sufficient traffic flow for bus transportation and parking. Mercy Health will also be a partner in the project by opening a new MOB and fitness facility in the building. The new facility is divided into three wings; academic, performing arts and athletics. Several large program spaces are located at the junctions of these wings to allow for large, multi-functional gathering spaces which serve the adjacent large assembly functions. This project is currently in the construction documentation phase and is expected to achieve LEED Silver status.
